The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau organizes the Hospitality Open Golf Tournament (H.O.T.) to fund scholarships for men and women of African heritage committed to working in the local visitor industry upon their graduation.
The tournament provides a great opportunity to enjoy the renowned golf courses at the Doral Golf Resort & Spa and mingle with golfers of all skill levels – all for a great cause.
All proceeds from the H.O.T. Challenge benefit the Visitor Industry Council’s (VIC) African-American Scholarship Fund. The VIC is a not-for-profit organization that was established in 1991 by the GMCVB to increase and expand the participation by African Americans in Miami-Dade County’s visitor industry. To date, the VIC has awarded 180 scholarships.
QC is a proud sponsor of two riders in this year’s National MS Society 2009 bike ride; Carmen Marston (Zimmerman and Partners Advertising) and Roly Rodriguez (Mad4Marketing).
By simultaneously funding research for a cure, while also helping people who currently live with MS lead more fulfilling lives, The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is dedicated to ending the devastating effects of MS.

Lauderdale are presented annually by the local chapter of the Advertising Federation (AdFed). This year, the presentation of awards was held at Cinema Paradiso on February 20th 2009.
